Dr. David F. Brown received his BS from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2005 and his Ph.D. from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 2010, both in Electrical Engineering.  He is currently the manager and technical lead of the RF MMIC Design Team at BAE Systems Inc.  He has 20 years’ experience focused on RF GaN MMIC technology development, including key contributions to epitaxial growth of N-polar materials, high frequency GaN devices, and mm-wave MMIC amplifiers.  He is an IEEE Senior Member, has authored and co-authored more than 100 journal articles and conference proceedings, and holds 16 granted patents.
